Professor Samuel Awuah-Nyamekye

Samuel is a Full Professor of Religion and Ecology/Environment in the Department of Religion and Human Values at the University of Cape Coast (UCC) in Ghana. Prof. Awuah-Nyamekye completed his PhD in the Department of Theology and Religious Studies at the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom. His research addresses the possibility of integrating indigenous ecological knowledge, which has religio-cultural underpinnings, into modern means of addressing environmental problems in Ghana.
